Decaf Process

GREAT COFFEE. NO CAFFEINE.

SUGAR CANE DECAF PROCESS

Decaf gets a bad rap, but that’s because most companies treat it like an afterthought. Not us. We use the Sugar Cane Process—a natural, clean method that preserves the coffee’s full-bodied flavor without the need for harsh chemicals.

Here’s how it works: Sugarcane-derived ethyl acetate (EA), a naturally occurring compound found in fruits and—you guessed it—sugarcane, gently removes caffeine while keeping the beans’ rich character intact. The beans are first steamed to open their pores, then bathed in an EA solution that binds to the caffeine and lifts it away. After a final steam to remove any trace of the compound, what’s left is pure, flavorful coffee—minus the jitters.

Unlike traditional decaf methods that strip coffee of its soul, the Sugar Cane Process enhances natural sweetness and preserves the origin’s distinct notes. The result? A decaf that tastes so good, you’ll forget it’s missing the caffeine.
